I have food allergies, and the server and kitchen worked really hard to modify the food and make sure I could eat it safely! It's definitely a place to try if you are gluten or dairy free because they list everything you can eat on the menu! Same for vegetarian. Yummy food, too. The only slight drawback was the atmosphere because certain tables had air vents blowing on them, which would have been a real bummer. The other slight issue was that there were only two bathrooms in the whole place, and the line took forever. Maybe it's not always like that, but the wait was at least 15 minutes. We still liked it enough to go back, though! The service really was excellent.

My daughter is in town for Christmas from South Carolina and we spent the day in Carytown. We decided to try Lolita's Restaurant. WOW! What a pleasant surprise. My daughter is gluten-free and Lolita's has many GF options. The service was fantastic. The food was totally amazing. On a scale of 1 to 10, my wife, daughter and myself all rated our dishes an 11. Lolita's is truly unique. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming. I am pretty sure we will be going back next week.
