I'd given up on eating anywhere in Bellingham, but I decided to give Lombardi's a try. All I can say is that I was salivating over my meal for a week following my visit. Excellent, prompt service. Sophisticated food. Delicious mixed drinks. Very affordable. Bonus: seasonal menus, gluten-free menus, and Happy Hour for food on Mondays. (This review is based on one visit between two people. We shared an appetizer, drinks, 2 entrees, and dessert.)

One of our top choices for dinner. Especially because the gluten free noodles are as good as traditional, so my wife and I can share our entrees.

We started with Calamari, served with a thin light cornstarch based batter and bread. My wife really likes the cornstarch component, we both thought the calamari was tender. We ordered the Italian Supper Club that includes: Italian sausage pepper soup, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine and brussel sprouts. The pasta was undercooked and dry as was the sauce in general but, specific to the chicken Parmesan, appeared closer to tomato paste. I ordered the seasonal Gabellieri pizza and recalled just as the last time the dough was undercooked as well as lacking gluten development and the toppings were overpowered by cheese.
