Love this pub and had our son’s 18th meal there. He wanted the Tomahawk steak and declared it delicious! It was-I tasted a bit 😊 He said it was “the best ever-better than the one from the Michelin place in France!” He is a coeliac and knowing he is safe makes it even better.Thank you to the whole team who made the evening wonderful

We used to go nearly every week or two but been only once in the last year....until yesterday. Food wise nothing has changed....We had the shoulder of lamb and it was absolutely delicious. Melt in the mouth. The vegetables and cranberry mash were also perfect. There are plenty of gluten free options for the desserts, which is perfect for my coeliac wife. ....and they were delicious too. Sadly, no greetings when we arrived and a 10 mins wait to be welcomed and sat down....even though it was empty. Service was ok, waitresses were very distracted through out and nobody bothered to ask how our food was. Hopefully just a one off admonishment.
