Lone Star Taupo

We'd heard there is a vegan menu so we visited, and it's true. See the attached photo of the vegan menu. There are a few gluten free options also. It was really nice and the service was great. Only down side was the tomato juice is not very nice and not recommended. And it's a Lone Star so lots of country music 😀. But everything else was great and well worth a visit.

Choose to dine here and went for a early dinner with hubby. I'm ceiliac and can't do dairy or egg. The waitress that we delt with was so good and checked with kitchen on food options but when food arrived chef had mayo on burger so I found our waitress and she was sorting it with the kitchen. Was happy to wait. Then out of no were a woman came in hot and was informing me that the chef does there best and it's not a ceiliac kitchen. I told here that you offer gluten free so deside what you wanna offer. Made me feel very heated and just wanted to eat and get out of there. Super rude. I imagine she's the manager but she needs to here facts before making me feel at fault. Would not recommend eating here plenty of other places to eat.
