Unfortunately, we just had a fairly poor experience. We are totally understandable of the staffing shortages and holiday bustle everyone is facing right now. If that was all it was, tonight still would’ve been fine. We eat at Longhorn regularly due to their ability to handle our family’s food restrictions. In the many years of being patrons, we have had very few issues. Tonight, it seemed clear right away that our waiter was either sick (dripping sweat from his forehead and wiping his nose on his sleeve/sniffling nonstop) or under the influence of something (confused, looked disoriented, struggling with comprehension and tasks). Either way, very troubling. Upon mixing up our salads with the next table’s (and serving me gluten-thankfully obvious) he verbally complained to them that it was our fault because we had ordered “weird salads” (no croutons or cheese is weird?). The other table didn’t get their salads corrected for a while. When our salads came, our toddler was without food. We had requested upon ordering that his fruit come with the salads. The waiter told us his manager told him no. So, our toddler went without food until the meal came. When the meal came, nearly every order was wrong in some way. At that point, we just ate our burnt or overcooked food and got out of there. I truly hate to leave a negative review but this was honestly such a rough experience and a waste of money.
