My sister who lives here in Jacksonville recommended I go to this restaurant. ๐ฅ There was plenty of parking in front. When I arrived I was not impressed with the space, it is definitely not a luxury restaurant, it is more of a simple restaurant, quite basic in its style and presentation. The space is not big. A very friendly Argentinian guy greeted me and helped me with any questions I had about the food I was going to order. The menu (a simple 2-sided laminate) did not show the prices. I ordered the tamale with pork, presented on the banana leaf, I couldn't say that it is the best tamale ๐ซ that I ate in my life, but it was good, and the taste of the pork (inside) was delicious. The tilapia apanda with black beans and fried yucca was very fresh, the beans had good flavor and the yucca was soft and delicious, the red sauce was very good to season the fish ๐. The Chaufa rice with shrimp was very tasty and the โlomo saltadoโ with white rice and French fries was very good. The truth is that it looks like homemade food with good taste. I couldn't say that it is the best sample of Peruvian food, it is definitely not gourmet (because the restaurant itself is not) but it is very good to eat. ๐. In the end, my mother ordered the alfajores and apparently she liked them a lot (I didn't try them because I've been avoiding sugar and gluten lately. Anyway, as for the portions, they were generous (there was a little left over for tomorrow ๐) so We packed all the surplus. The prices are not cheap but if you are hungry and want to eat something delicious, you could do well here. I left happy (and with a full belly โค๏ธ). I am from Panama ๐ต๐ฆ and I love you very much. Congratulations!
