Los Muchitos Comida Vegana

This was my favorite place to eat in Oaxaca. The 'tlayadus especiales' where amazing (glutenfree and vegan 😍). I came here every day to eat during my stay. Its a bit oit of the centre = less turismo 🥳. People where realy sweet! Highly recommend. Bendiciones !

Yesterday I had a delightful lunch of salad and tostadas with mushrooms. Because I have celiac I asked about the salad and found out it normally has pasta (!) but they kindly omitted it for me. I especially appreciated the professional and friendly server Jorge who answered all my questions, forgave my mess, and patiently balanced a full dining room, cashing out customers and creating specialty drinks and other menu items. I’m not vegetarian but didn’t miss meat at all. The flavors were great, the plant-filled terrace on the second floor is cozy and relaxing and they even have a small gift shop. Be careful not to miss the entrance (an unmarked brown door) as apparently their sign on the street was stolen. Once you enter you will see a staircase with a sign mentioning their vegan specialties. Or on the corner, just look up for the plant-filled terrace and enter below.
