Lost & Found Knutsford

This was our first visit here and we decided to go for the light bite and open sandwich options. We had the Smoked Haddock, Leek & Cheddar fishcakes and the BLT Open Sandwich. We shared a portion of Triple Cooked Chunky Chips. The portions were perfect and it all tasted amazing. We didn’t have cocktails this time but that’s something to look forward to next time. The venue itself was clean, spacious and quite pretty inside and out, It is also wheelchair accessible. The staff were lovely and welcoming, checking in on you without hovering. We will definitely be back. This venue is child friendly and has a children’s menu. They do a gluten and wheat free menu as well as catering for Vegetarians and Vegans. There is some on street parking but you are only limited to an hour, there are 5 good sized car parks within a 5 minute walk of the venue, these are all pay and display. A little note that it may be worth booking a table as it filled up quickly.

My daughter has food intolerances and she couldn’t have anything from the children’s menu. We were with cousins who ordered pizza and pasta but my daughter couldn’t have anything because the staff wouldn’t adapt the food to make it suitable. As a result she was really upset and couldn’t understand why the other children were eating their dinner and she had nothing. I tried to order her the tomato pasta with gluten free pasta and was told it wasn’t possible. It would be appreciated if the kids food could be more adaptable so that I could offer her at least one thing from the menu. The service has also really gone downhill. No effort to accommodate dietary requirements, just a simple ‘no we can’t offer her anything’. Used to love this place but can’t go here again as a family, such a shame .
