Lottos Restaurant & Pizza

We went to Lottos on the first evening of our 5 night stay in Agia Marina. After taking a walk and seeing many other restaurants we decided to stop here because we were welcomed by a very kind and smiling girl who showed us the menu (when she told me that they had many gluten-free options including pizza she definitely won me over) and inspired a lot of sympathy in us. The place is beautiful and welcoming and that evening there was even a musician playing live music. The impeccable service: they opened and served the wine in the truly correct way and the waiters were always smiling and available if we needed anything. Excellent wine and food!! My pizza was good and plentiful, my partner had the meat and that too was equally good and cooked just right. We also had a dessert, delicious, and before leaving they brought us another offered dessert and raki (typical Cretan digestive). Honest account. We had such a good time that evening that we decided to return the following evening and also another evening 😁 we felt at home, treated very well, everyone was very nice and kind to us. The second evening when we returned they treated us like royalty!!

Good food, reasonable prices and lovely service. In contrast to the other restaurants that also (sometimes) offer free dessert in the area, Lottos provided fresh fruits, which was very pleasant. Unplanned heavy desserts after generous portions can feel a bit too much, honestly, so the fruit was brilliant. They have a couple of gluten free options, including bread as appetizer. However, I would recommend sticking to the regular things that are usually naturally gluten free (if you are gluten intolerant, that is).
