I ordered gluten free pancakes, and when I went to tell them it was “a gluten allergy” (I have celiac disease) she didn’t understand. My boyfriend tried telling her and she replied by saying , “she ordered gluten free pancakes.” with no confirmation it was safe to order. She then proceeds to collect our menus and throw them on the table next to us??? The server was overall rude and snappy despite being nice when we walked in. The taste of the pancakes wasn’t even worth the price or risking getting sick. I’m leaving this review right after leaving, so I have no idea yet if it’ll actually get me sick. I REALLY wanted to love this place since it is so iconic. I’m so disappointed!!:(

Must visit place every time your in Chicago Authentic American dinner, great menu with lots of options and they cater for gluten free, staff are very friendly My omelette was cooked perfectly, place can get very busy but worth the wait

What a fabulous place with rich history! Celebrating 100 years in 2023. We loved the gluten free pancakes and the cottage cheese omelette. Amazing!
