Ordered a gluten free Pho with chicken and had a reaction to the food because the “topping” used was not gluten free. I had specified that I needed it gluten free 3 times due to a medical condition. Very disappointed in Lucky Thai. Do not label something as gluten free if it’s not gluten free!

Today was my second visit to Lucky Thai and if I could give a negative rating, I would. The person who took our order was super pleasant and took our order and specifically questioned if we wanted both garden roll sauces gluten free after my daughter said we needed them to be gluten free. We ordered Pho with chicken and Pad Thai with chicken. When we got home with our order, we discovered that there was a breading on my daughter’s chicken with her Pho and she has celiacs disease and cannot eat gluten. I called the restaurant to let them know and I said “panko” for the breading material which I was quickly corrected on and told “we do not use panko”. After I said whatever topping is on the chicken appears to be a breaded topping and they asked me when we got the order and what was my last name. I gave it to them and they stated that the last order they had from me was in May. That kind of made me angry so I took the bag with the receipt still attached back to the restaurant and showed them where it was ordered as gluten free but that’s not what we received. One of the People working there kept saying they did not use panko. They could not confirm that it was prepared as gluten free. This is not a choice for my daughter it’s a medical condition. I felt disrespected and there wasn’t any offer of a solution proposed at all. I will not return to this restaurant.
