Lucy Bar

We came to Lucy’s Bar after the Pride parade (around 5:30/6ish) to grab something to eat on our way home. The team were all so lovely, especially Oscar who was serving us as we sat at the bar. The gluten free pizza was out of this world, the only negative part of the experience was the host who was incredibly rude and we heard speaking very condescendingly to all of the servers. It was not just us who noticed her tone towards the servers and bussers. Some other people also sitting at the bar commented on how rude she was to them and to other patrons who were entering the establishment. It did get increasingly busy as we were there, but it certainly was not busy enough for the condescending tone she was using with everyone she spoke to. Aside from the host who was snapping her fingers at the other team members, the experience at Lucy’s was great and would highly recommend the gluten free pizza!

The BEST gluten free pizza I have ever had! Seriously check this place out! The restaurant itself is so cute, our service was great. I think our server was Peter, he was really nice and attentive. The pizza was phenomenal and such good quality. Loved the big windows being open, will definitely be coming back many times!

This is our favorite spot in DC. We used to come here weekly when we lived here, now it’s just the first stop when we visit. Best gluten free pizza we’ve ever had. Strongly recommend you order the prosciutto pizza, and if Josias is working, the Dealers Choice cocktail which used to be on old menu, and is the best cocktail in town. The basilette ain’t too shabby either. Also it’s a great vibe for either date night or good conversation with old friends.
