We were visiting Adelaide as an early birthday gift for my husband’s 30th, and I wanted to book a special dinner for him—Luigi Delicatessen was a great choice! The whole evening had a fun, lively vibe with live music that added a special touch. The staff were warm, energetic, and had such a personable nature—it really felt like they enjoyed being there. I was especially impressed by how well they knew the menu off by heart! As someone with celiac disease, I really appreciated how well they catered to my dietary requirements without any fuss. The Ciao Amore drink was absolutely delicious—full of flavour and beautifully presented. All in all, a memorable and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend! ☺️

As an interstate visiter looking for a great dining experience, we were excited to dine at luigi. The reviews and website gave is high expectations. Sadly not the case overall! Although the food was ok, it was not the amazing . Although grateful for a gluten free pasta option, the small amount of seafood was stunning but the pasta with sauce pretty basic. Then the massive shock of the bill!!!! Holy Moly if there had been a menu or idea of the prices we would have ordered very differently. Our surprise and feedback on the bill was then met in an unfriendly manner. Left feeling incredibly disappointed and would not recommend.

Tonight we stopped at a delightful Italian restaurant in the heart of Adelaide. We were met by Nick who was our waiter and pleasantly surprised he was shadowed by the owners young daughter - Anna Maria. All his food suggestions were amazing and service was outstanding. The antipasti board was plentiful. House made gnocchi was incredible. One of our party is gluten free and they did a great job adjusting the dishes to accommodate that allergy with both pasta and bread. Nick had great suggestions about where to go in the area for good food and wine. It was an overall delightful experience. Highly recommend and would return.
