Lume Kitchen and Lounge

Lume has quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in south Etobicoke! It has such a chill vibe and the space itself is beautiful. I’ve loved every dish I’ve tried here, but my favourites have been the calamari (which is gluten free!) and the fresh oysters. But what makes this spot the most memorable is the service! I’ve had Rez helping me both times and she is always so attentive and thoughtful! She always remembers my dietary restrictions and makes accommodations and recommendations. She makes you feel like family every time you visit! Thank you Lume for another great meal ❤️

This was the most pathetic restaurant visit I've endured in a long time. We went for my dad's birthday and it took ~50 minutes for us to get our food (3 people), my sister has a gluten allergy which she mentioned to the waitress. an hour later we get our food and hers has gluten bread on it. We wait for her food to be corrected and by that point everything went cold. Others got their food before us despite sitting down 30 minutes after us. No apology from the staff and we had to pay full price for cold dishes and 90 wasted minutes. Do better lume.

I went on a Saturday night at 5pm, and had a wonderful meal with a group of 8. The staff were so kind, very accommodating, and highly attentive. The interior is gorgeous and very chic! The menu was great with many different types of proteins. One of us was gluten free and had no issues. All the food was delicious and had beautiful presentation. So many great dishes to share - Brussels, cauliflower steak, polenta fries, burrata. We all loved our entrees - shrimp pasta cooked to perfection, papardelle with meat sauce, hummus bowl, salmon, lamb. Would definitely return!
