The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—especially when I had questions about what I could safely eat with dietary restrictions. Pro tip: it’s not on the menu, but you can order their Lo Mein with egg noodles to make it gluten-free (the egg noodles are thinner but still super tasty!). Their fried spring rolls are also gluten-free—which was such a treat since it’s hard to find fried options that are safe. I didn’t realize how much I missed fried food until I had them! When ordering the dinner special, they were able to substitute the spring rolls in place of the usual egg roll and crab rangoon to make it gluten-free. Also, they’ll let you do a half-and-half plate of pretty much any house specials—not just the ones listed on the menu, which is perfect if you want to try a couple different things. They do not serve alcohol, but it’s BYOB, which is a great bonus if you want to bring your own wine or drinks. Whether you’re celiac, gluten-sensitive, or just trying to eat gluten-free, this place is one of the best options for gluten-free Chinese food in the Hill Country area. Definitely recommend!
