Came for dinner on a Friday night and found fresh, authentic Italian food with made with creativity and care. The artichoke flower appetizer and sea bass entree are absolute standouts. The complimentary bread comes out warm with an amazing tomato based dipping sauce. I'm pretty much gluten free and I couldn't stop eating it, it's dangerous.
Chef Adolfo's presence is not only apparent in the kitchen but in the dining room as well. Our server Julia kept the whole evening flowing and Antonio's craft cocktail skills stand up to any professional out there. The Beetlejuice beet infused tequila cocktail served up is delicious and perfectly balanced.
I eat out a lot all over NJ and NYC and I've been in the industry for the last 10 years as a sommelier. You're getting NYC quality service and cuisine here.
10 out of 10 for Lupa Ristorante. The whole experience is warm and impressive. I'm serious about those artichokes.
