OMG this was one of the best experiences I had as a celiac eating out. I had the lobster risotto but there were so many options. They didn’t label GF on the menu but the server went to the chef to confirm what was safe. I also had the stracciatella for dessert which they double checked with the kitchen was safe. I’m 100% coming here every time I go to Vegas from now on. Also as a note they confirmed if you tell them you’re celiac or have a severe gluten allergy they will make extra certain to avoid any cross contamination (they use separate water for the gf pasta as well).

Gluten sensitivity can enjoy high end pizza and pasta. Super expensive, but it’s worth it.

We had dinner at Caramá by Wolfgang Puck while staying at the W, and overall it was a nice experience. The vibe is modern and relaxed, and the service really stood out, friendly, not pushy, and they took the time to walk us through the menu and answer questions, which we appreciated. The cocktail to start, a 10-year aged old-fashioned, was smooth, sweet, and easy to sip. It was $30, so definitely ask for pricing if you go for the 15- or 20-year options. For dinner, we tried the bolognese with gluten-free pasta and a sausage pizza (minus the broccolini). The gluten-free pasta was a win, great texture and cooked just right. The sauce had a hearty amount of meat, though we did wish for a little more tomato to round it out. The pizza looked amazing but didn’t quite deliver. The crust was a bit too soft, which made it tricky to eat, and the sausage and cheese didn’t pack a ton of flavor. Now, dessert? That’s what we’ll remember. The stracciatella gelato was fantastic. They pour hot dark chocolate over house made vanilla gelato at the table, and it creates this magic hard shell with just the right crunch. It totally stole the show. Would we go back? Yeah, but next time we’d probably try something else on the menu or just skip to dessert. It’s a good option if you’re staying nearby and want a laid-back meal, but for the price, we were hoping for a little more wow factor from the food.
