Lure Fish House

Beautiful fish restaurant just a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean in downtown Ventura. The fish here is excellent! We tried the rockfish, which, and Antarctic salmon and all were amazingly good!! The sides hold their own. We tried the spinach, Brussels sprouts, cilantro rice, & sweet potato fries- each was great and their seasonings complimented the fish. The servers easily accommodate people with food allergies. The menu is marked with Gluten free selections. They have lovely and comfortable outdoor seating and a great selection of cocktails. Try the roasted blueberry margarita!! I highly recommend this place and can hardly wait to go back there myself!

We had a great experience here. The oyster was super fresh. The food was delicious. Our waiter, Saul, was very warm and professional. Me being celiac always worry about getting "gluten poisoned". Saul made sure the dishes I ordered were gluten free. It was a fantastic experience!
