Lusso Italian Restaurant Rouse Hill

We love dining at Lusso Italian in Rouse Hill! We visited over the weekend for my son’s 8th birthday, and once again, everything was wonderful. Being gluten intolerant he doesn’t have many options when eating out, but Lusso has become one of his favourite places — and for good reason! Their gluten-free peri-peri pizza and gluten-free chicken penne are full of flavour and beautifully made. It’s such a joy to find a restaurant that offers gluten-free options that are genuinely delicious. We also ordered the regular penne pasta, french fries and the barramundi with roasted potatoes, and everyone enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive. We’ve also ordered home delivery from Lusso before, and the food has always arrived fresh, hot, and just as tasty. Highly recommend for anyone, gluten-free or not.

Would never return or recommend. Service atrocious. Recently dined here with my daughter. I had reserved a table online. From the moment we arrived the service was non-existent. No greet at the door, pointed into a direction of our table, in the corner, which was beside the kitchen, half way through our meal, the kitchen staff unpacked the dishwasher, clanging pots and cutlery we had to stop our conversation over the noise. Our waitress was quiet and courteous, but we had to get her attention to place our order. We were not told any information about the food or specials. The selection is limited, barely any Gluten free options and at already expensive prices for pasta, $26,+ $5 for gluten free, no dairy free choices. We were not asked for dessert or checked on throughout the meal. We had to find our way to the counter to pay, when this is a table service restaurant. The older women taking payments couldn't raise a smile or to say thankyou for dining, no how was your meal, absolutely no interaction. Overall the place lacked atmosphere, service was non existent, the food was good but nothing special. I would never return or recommend. Very disappointing, we should have gone to our regular Enzos at Dural.
