Definitely recommended when you visit Ghent or want a quick bite to eat. Reservations are required. A big plus is the preparation of several gluten-free meals. I tried the gluten-free stew myself. Delicious and can tell you that it is gluten-free. Enjoy!!

Very nice place and also the food with particular but good combinations! Gluten-free bread and chips. A little cold because they keep the door open but all in all a great experience. High chair and changing table available for children

Seriously delicious pork-based Stoofvlees, served with baked/caramelised apple slices, fries and salad. The sweetness of the soft apple complemented the stew perfectly, and I'm glad the stew itself wasn't overly salty, as they often can be. The portion was generous and filling! An appetiser of bread, butter and shrimp was served beforehand. They also offer a gluten-free or vegetarian version of the stew. The menu is easily accessible via QR codes provided on the table. The staff were really warm and welcoming, accommodating me and several other groups who arrived without a reservation on a weekday early afternoon. That said, booking in advance is still recommended to avoid disappointment. So I'd definitely recommend this place to try out the Stoofvlees for some authentic local cuisine!
