MISSION BBQ

I had my daughter's wedding catered by Mission BBQ. I was very encouraged and everything was absolutely professional up until the wedding. Most everything was done great at the wedding. The set up was beautiful, the servers were professional and cleaned everything up well, the food tasted great, and my gluten free needs were taken very seriously. However... The big disappointment for me was that I ordered a 3 meat catering package. I chose 2 briskets and 1 salmon. While serving, the servers didn't understand that my guests were supposed to get 2 briskets and only gave them one. They even turned down some of the immediate family when they asked for 2 pieces. The situation wasn't corrected until I went through the line and that was towards the end. So, my guests were given meager meat portions, and I was sent home with a ton of untouched brisket. I understand how that was a reasonable mistake, but I sent a long letter afterwards to the store explaining the situation and they never responded to me. That is why I'm only giving 2 stars.

We used Mission BBQ to cater the rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding and we couldn't be more happy! Lindsay was a joy to work with, was flexible and was always happy to respond to my questions. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered brisket, pulled pork, slider buns, corn bread, mac n cheese, cold slaw, potato salad, a huge green salad, a cookie and brownie tray as well as lemonade. The meats and salads as well as most of the sauces are gluten-free. The party pack included sturdy plates and utensils, napkins and cups. EVERYONE raved! I would not hesitate for a moment to use Mission BBQ to cater our next event. Thank you so much for a great BBQ experience!
