We usually like to stop at this location because it is our halfway point when driving down south. Our family has food allergies, so the gluten free and dairy free options are great for us and convenient that we can all eat at one place! We have never had a problem or gotten sick at this location, until yesterday. The worker seemed annoyed having to wait for me to ask everyone what they wanted, which was maybe 30 seconds to a minute. We told him we needed gluten free crust and dairy free cheese on our pizzas, which usually makes the employee change their gloves automatically and go and get the dairy free cheese from the back. He wrote it all down and told us that we could go and check out and they would get them done. I should have just waited and watched to make sure everything was correct. We waited 20 minutes for our pizzas, and they tasted good, but two of our family members were sick last night and this morning from a reaction to eating gluten/dairy. I know that as someone with these needed accommodations, not everyone is going to know about cross contamination and everything we need, but I feel like if you offer these allergy options, employees should at least know to change gloves and offer fresh toppings/separate cheese. I understand that we take a risk by eating out with our allergies, but we've never had a problem with this location before and felt comfortable going. So I guess we just got the wrong employees this time.
