MO&MA - Cookies and Pies

Baffled! No other word for it. Called on Friday for a GLUTEN FREE key lime pie for pick up Sunday afternoon. Gave credit card over the phone to secure my order. Showed up at time of requested pickup and only employee seen went into the back to “find” my order and was gone for a couple of minutes. She then came out and around the counter and pulled a keylime pie out of the display case and took it to the back to box it. However, when she returned with the pie boxed she could not guarantee that it was gluten free. I’m happy she was honest because this could have turned into a nightmare if my mom ate the pie. My mother is highly allergic which is why I called in advance to order as I understand this type of pie is not a traditional order. I planned to pick up other desserts for those celebrating that were not gluten free but quickly decided Mo&Ma did not deserve any of my business. I could not be more disappointed as this was a birthday pie…. I quickly called the Delray location and the girl on the other end (tried so hard to rectify the situation) tried to help me but everything available was chocolate and that was not an option for us as my mom is also allergic to cocoa. Never again will I attempt to order from this establishment.

The staff is friendly and it’s great they have keto, gluten friendly options! Not easy to find!
