We love this place! Been many times and have brought many different friends as well - never have had a complaint ourselves or from anyone we’ve brought with. Staff are amenable and efficient. I’ve never had bad service with one exception of it taking a while to get our check when they were busy and understaffed, so quite understandable.
Delicious! sushi! Some very authentic dishes including the momos they are named for (Tibetan food). Sushi menu is very big with lots of options for all tastes and preferences - some are an Americanized style with ingredients like avocado and cream cheese; cooked and uncooked options; extensive maki and sashimi as well. I wish they had gomae but that seems an uncommon menu item for any restaurant in Minnesota. Also a large appetizer menu, the shumai is one of our favorites.
Tamaki sauce is available and servers are aware it’s gluten free and will help you avoid other gluten foods - like their miso which contains gluten and comes complimentary with every order.
Beverage menu is extensive including a variety of sake, red and white wines, local and Japanese and draft beers, pop and other non-alcoholic options. There are more beverage options than I am personally aware of since I tend to have water or order order beer or sake. I’ve water comes with seating so no need to ask for it and servers regularly walk around with pitchers for refills.
Very pleasant indoor and outdoor seating. Has a parking lot right off of Central next to the building and is easy to get in and out of, as well as street parking in front of the building on Central. All parking is free and side streets are unrestricted as well so no worries if you want to enjoy a longer meal. They do dine-in and take-out. They have delivery available via delivery service apps.
I’m not sure if they have a kid’s menu but I frequently see families with young children dining there as well. Uncertain on booster seats or high chairs since I have never needed them.
