Monvoisin is a little tucked away but what a lovely surprise. The decor is clean and fresh. The chairs are comfortable. The waitress spoke English and was very helpful translating the menu for us and checking with the chef about gluten.
I had bass and my partner had beef, both were cooked to perfection and the best we had ever had, all at a reasonable price. We had a lovely evening.
We will definitely be back next time we are in La Rochelle.

The setting is very nice, the dishes are refined and delicious with fresh produce, the service is attentive (I am gluten and lactose intolerant). In short, great evening washed down with a Pessac Leognan which doesn’t spoil anything for this evening 😉
