I have celiac disease, meaning autoimmune reaction to gluten. They were accomidating and helpful. Sashimi was my best option. I had to send the wedge salad back because it had fried onion on top that was not specified in the menu. They were understanding once I explained why. Onions are fried in wheat. No gluten-free soy sauce was available, unfortunately. I gave all 5 because my husband's dishes were superb, and so was the quality of my fish. Their raw ginger was delicious, which is hard to come by. We were visiting Mc Allen for a convention, and the gluten-free understanding is not strong in most restaurants due to the culture of the city and language barrier. The standard of the surroundings and menu was very high here. My little one gobbled her chicken up. That is a rarity. The experience was top-notch.
