One of my students told me about this place and how good it was so I decided to try it. I’m vegan and gluten free even though they offer a vegan option (cauliflower), it’s deep fried in wheat batter. I could only eat two of the six but they were delicious! Got sweet potato fries and sweet tea. The tea was way too sweet for me but still good. I also ordered a boneless combo with garlic parmesan flavor and another one with honey sriracha seasoning, kids said they enjoyed them both.
The spot is smaller but there’s seating available via low booths and high-top tables. Differently able parking right in front and the young lady working the counter who took my order was sweet as ever. Very patient and thorough. Three combos were $36.00, but I was happy to suppport this incredible black-owned business.
