Mackinac Grille & Patio Bar

The wait staff was absolutely clueless about gluten free options and had to keep going back to the cook before finally having a manager come to the table. Then, I ordered the bacon BBQ cheese burger, no bun, no onion. I got a hamburger patty. When I asked about the cheese, the bacon, the BBQ sauce (already determined to be gf), the waitress said it didn't come with it. I asked for the menu...pointed out the cheese, BBQ, bacon and tomato. She went back, again, to try and get my order. Everyone at my table was finished and I didn't even have my meal. They wee frustrated because I was holding them up...so I was even more frustrated because it wasn't my fault I didn't get my order. If the wait staff doesn't know the basic menu...seriously? Oh...and we got charged extra for the tomato that was included on the burger. By that point I just left...it wasn't all that great of a burger either. I suppose if you don't have any dietary restrictions, it could be great...but watch that you actually get what you order...and don't pay extra for the supposedly included items with your meal.

Poor man Whitefish with veggies were delicious, nothing marked if gluten free on menu and this was the only option offered for gluten free. I am not a fan of fish but this was very tasty and service was impeccable.
