Ordered a lobster roll on a gluten free bun. Told them I have an intolerance (makes me extremely ill.) They told me it's all good. 15 minutes later they bring me a lobster on a regular bun. I could tell it wasn't gluten free immediately. If it was just a preference, fine. But this mistake could've made me really sick.
Also, I asked if I could sit outside because I have a dog. They asked if he's a service dog, I said no. (He is actually in training to be a service animal but isn't fully trained yet.) The manager said "You have to say it's a service dog or you can't bring it. We only allow service animals. So it's a service dog, right?" I answered truthfully, "He is actually in training to be one, yes." The manager encouraging me to lie about my dog being a service animal- which is illegal- was so weird. Our waitress was very sweet and brought him water. She was probably the only good thing about this restaurant.
