Madame Fu-Grand Cafe Chinois

Wow - amazing place!!! So many gluten free and vegetarian options!! They do 3 dumplings per portion for lunch and for dinner only do a dumpling platter of 8 dumplings (gluten free possible). The gluten free ones are mushroom and spinach (so vegetarian). They also have a great vegetarian selection. They even have gluten free deserts. It is on the pricier side but definitely worth it. This was the only place here in Hong Kong where I felt safe.

My partner is gluten intolerant. We thought she would be able to find some good gluten free options but unfortunately NOT. The options were limited and they were not able to cook a chicken breast without soy sauce. Very poor and the staff were NOT very helpful. We paid for the water and left

A lovely relaxing dim sum (small bites) lunch at Madame Fu's. Set on a verandah overlooking the Old police parade ground (in door seating also available), this restaurant is in a building with interesting history. Service was quick and efficient. Madam Fu offers a gluten-free specific menu and provides gluten-free soy sauce for dipping. Pots of chinese tea are for one and are refilled when empty. Menu offerings are on the more expensive side with 3 dim sum around 80hkd, vegetable side dishes around 170hkd and mains at 200+hkd. Well worth a visit for dim sum.
