Madame Wu

We had a fabulous family dinner at Madame Wu on new years day. Maddie was our waitress and she was absolutely fabulous. Maddie helped us choose meals to share that were coeliac safe. We had specifically travelled to Madame Wu for the Gluten Free options, which we were delighted to find were extensive. They even have a separate Gluten Free menu. The food was exceptional, the service outstanding, and the location was a delight. We watched the storey bridge change colours and river cats pass by as we dined. Our family highly recommend Madame Wu for a safe coeliac dining experience. What a wonderful evening. Thanks Maddie!

An absolutely stunning spot overlooking the bridge and water reflecting the city lights. The service was attentive and professionally engaging, I loved the wine pairing with the wonderful anecdotes of each wine! The food was delicious, and large portions which our table of 6 couldn't finish. We added the Roast Duck to the Banquet One, because I'd read the reviews that spoke highly of it. It was delicious and Im so glad we added it! We loved the Duck Buns, the mushrooms with shallots side, and the lamb was divine. The Swiss roll dessert was strange to find at such a upmarket restaurant but for its simplicity it was very light, and the fresh raspberries and cream were wonderful. Would definitely visit again if in the area. We had multiple dietary requirements and the staff were very accommodating, supporting even the duck that I wanted to be gluten free. My colleagues who were vegan and vegetarian had a lovely time as well and we were all full.
