Great selection and quality on fish and chips. Fish tacos were awesome. I love trying chowder all over, but this one disappointed. It's probably a "true" white clam chowder, which is fine, but I want more than that in my chowder. Busy spot, lots of takeout and other delivery drivers in and out. Very basic, cafeteria style seating. Fantastic that there are more than just the basic options for fish and chips, and they make a gluten free version as well that is apparently tasty.

Wife is celiac and Maggie's is the spot for gluten-free dishes made with care. Gluten-free options are amazing and cooked in its own fryer.

Excellent fish and chips, we had the halibut with beautiful crispy batter. My partner chose the gluten free halibut and chips which was fabulous and made in a separate fryer just for celiac. Stop in and see Maggie, she will set you up with an awesome meal. We will be back again and again as this is our new goto for gluten-free restaurants in Nanaimo.
