Maha's Brunch

Came with a group of friends. Overall the food and service were excellent. The reason I give 3 stars is because we had someone with celiacs disease who was given a few gluten-free dish options. We informed the server that he had a gluten allergy. He had two dishes: the Cairo Classic and the Egyption Falafel (we were told both could be made gluten-free). Unfortunately there was definitely some gluten cross contamination and he got sick. We read a couple of other reviews where other folks with celiacs were okay eating here which is why we felt okay coming, but unfortunately our friend didn't have a safe experience this time.

The ambience is heavenly , the food will tantalize your taste buds 😋 The service is friendly but sometimes slow. The food portion sizes are just right; not too much--not too little ....it's brunch after all. The coffee - oh the coffee! To the foodies - this place is a must try while in Toronto! This time I had the Cairo Classic - without the bread (gluten free option) and I loved it 😋 I'll certainly keep going back here.
