Maldron Hotel Portlaoise

Lovely hotel, very clean and lovely staff. The pool area is spotless, as are the changing facilities. We also ate in the restaurant, even though I'm gluten intolerant they catered for me by adapting what they already had on the menu and then our lovely waitress went and found me a gluten free brownie which wasn't on the menu!! Thanks for a lovely stay.

One of the most important things when you get to your room: it was clean. Both times I stayed here. Staff was friendly and breakfast was a highlight; Irish breakfast, porridge, fruits, gluten-free and non-dairy options available, pastries… There’s also a gym, a swimming pool and a jacuzzi available - two different entrances but you can get there through a corridor at the hotel’s ground floor Another high point was the proximity to a petrol station with fast-food, asian food and some other options to eat just 2 minutes walking from the hotel’s reception.
