Mama's Boy at The Falls of Oconee

Delicious. Good Athens staple for sure. I was pleasantly surprised as it takes a lot to impress me for brunch. I was torn with what to get but went with the sausage grit bowl. And the flavor was on point. They even let me switch out the biscuit for fruit since I am gluten free. Very reasonable pricing too.

I’m gluten sensitive and accidentally made them think I was entirely gluten-free. One of the staff came out to follow-up and make sure there were no extra precautions he could take in prepping my food. Though a miscommunication on my part, my friend and I were grateful they listened and cared and that they were meticulous with their cooking and serving. If I was entirely gluten free, I’d feel safe here. Great service……oh and food, too! But everyone in Athens already knows that.
