Very good service, fresh fish and the pasta is also available in gluten free.

My pasta had plastic in it! We came here on our last night for a nice meal and because they did gluten free pasta (at an additional €2 charge). We sat down and all was fine, one of the serving staff (a bald man) was constantly buzzing around the table trying to get customers in by promoting their fresh fish. That in itself is fine but grabbing every person passing and yelling about fish to them when you have other guests trying to eat and enjoy is a bit much especially as the foot traffic is constant so the bombarding of passers by was unending. Our food came out and it looked amazing! And at first it was! I had the seafood spaghetti (GF) and my partner had the carbonara which he said was great! Unfortunately towards the end of my dish I found a piece of a clear plastic wrapper in my dish which unfortunately put me off my food. I told the server (the bald man) and he tried to gaslight me into believing that it was part of the mussels in my dish and threw the plastic on the floor?! And he said it wasn’t bad as it wasn’t hair?! Hair would have been awful yes, but plastic isn’t much better! I wasn’t pleased as the meal wasn’t cheap and all I wanted was acknowledgment and an apology which this particular server did not give and therefore soured the atmosphere. Thankfully one of the other servers caught wind and apologised to us and gave us both a drink on the house. I’m only giving this place 2 stars for food as my partner said his food was nice and mine would have been good if there wasn’t a foreign object in it! The atmosphere was chaotic and I saw the server itch his crotch which again is off putting for a place serving food. The stars I’m giving for service and atmosphere are for the other servers who tried to salvage the situation. Maybe they were having a bad night and usually they are better but this was disappointing.
