Mamma Mia Italian Bistro of Holly Springs

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We visited on a Wednesday evening. We were asked when greeted if we were celebrating anything and we shared we were celebrating our sons graduation. Drinks were brought promptly after order. Delicious bread with garlicky olive oil was also brought with our drinks. We waited a few minutes for our appetizers and then our main dinner orders were taken. I appreciated that vegetarian and gluten free options were clearly marked on the menu. I had the caprese salad and my sons enjoyed the garlic knots. I had gluten free pasta with Alfredo sauce and shrimp. It was delicious! One son had the eggplant parmesan and my other son and husband shared a cheese pizza. The pizza was great! Thin crispy crust, generous marinara, and cheese. They came and sang to my son inserting graduation instead of birthday and brought him a cannoli. We had limmocello cake, NY cheesecake and spummona gelato. Everything was delicious. I also cannot say enough about the service. All of the staff was friendly, helpful and willing to crack a joke. Highly recommend for a superb dining experience. There is a public parking lot across the side street.

Went here with my parents. I got fettuccine alfredo, my dad got lasagna, and my mom got chicken cacciatore. The best thing about this place is definitely the staff! Our server was so sweet, the chef was very friendly and humorous, and someone even offered to hold the door for us as we left. My parents absolutely loved their meals, but the alfredo sauce for my food wasn’t exactly flavorful. An 8/10 for me. But aside from that, the bread they gave us before our food was so soft! While I wasn’t a big fan of my food, I can’t deny this place is great! Definitely recommend! :) They also made plenty of accommodations for my mom’s food allergies (gluten, dairy, soy, chicken eggs). The food is made to order, which is great when substitutions need to be made. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
