Mandurah Steakhouse

Had lunch here, was very nice and clean. Steak was cooked perfectly. Even had glutenfree options for coeliac not a great variety, would like to see some more options. Would recommend coming here for a good steak and salad. Our waiter Will was very helpful and friendly.

This restaurant was completely empty at 5:30pm, which honestly should’ve been our first warning sign. Unfortunately, the food lived up to that concern — it was incredibly underwhelming, and the only reason I didn’t send it back was because there was nothing else on the menu that I could actually eat. For a place in Mandurah, where so many venues are stepping up and genuinely catering for dietary needs, it was disappointing to see no gluten-free options beyond the bare minimum. Something as simple as stocking gluten-free buns so your burgers can be offered as GFO isn’t hard — plenty of local venues do it without issue. I genuinely don’t understand how this place still operates with a 4.5-star rating. It simply doesn’t reflect the experience. It’s baffling, and honestly raises questions about the authenticity of the reviews, because there is no world where this meal would earn 5 stars. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and not one I’d return for.
