Our prime rib didn’t thaw out completely so we decided we’d try and see who was open for pizza on Christmas Day. We landed on Manhattan City pizza. They were only a mile from us. I am so glad we found them. Best calzone I’ve had in 15 years! Nice lightly-crispy, beautifully seasoned crust. Perfect amount of some of the best ricotta I’ve had. Wonderful extra topping to cheese to crust ratio.
We also got a large meat lovers pizza and a gluten free pizza. Both pizzas were wonderful but the calzone was ultimately the star. The owners were friendly. Please give them a chance. They’re in the Publix plaza on Park and 54th. You won’t regret it.
