Beautiful place. Great food. Had the bacon burger no bun they did have a gluten free bun option but I chose not to have it.

Front of house polite but as soon as I questioned what was on the menu the service person lost interest and walked away. The only gluten free thing was a bun, no green salad. For a supposedly high end food outlet I was unimpressed. I wouldn’t be going back

Friends had recently been and raved and as per the reviews so do most people. We pre-booked for lunch on a Thursday afternoon. We felt the prices for the feed me and fixed menu were reasonable. Perhaps the prices for the a la carte are a bit too high, especially some of the vegetable sides, but nothing crazy - it is not a “pub” menu. We found the meals tasty but very heavy, overladen with too many flavours and rich add ons. But that may be our taste. Maybe we were unlucky but the service was appalling. The lady who initially met us and took our orders was lovely and friendly, the other person not so. Our friend’s gluten free soup was served to me and he got my non-gluten free soup. One of the sides to go with the main came out with our entrees. We had to ask for more water and drinks. We helped ourselves to more paper serviettes (the food is quite messy) when no one was around to ask. Some of the chips when served were scattered all over the table and we were the ones who cleaned that up. The second side we had ordered came out after we’d nearly finished our mains, and only then because we asked where it was. We sat for some time with our finished plates and empty glasses - no one came near us to clear up or ask if we wanted dessert or another drink. So we got up, paid the bill and left. They were not busy and at that stage we were the last people there. A lot of detail so I hope the management take heed.
