Marcel's Steakhouse is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the exceptional service made us feel like VIPs—attentive, knowledgeable staff who anticipated our every need without being intrusive. The low-light atmosphere creates such a cozy, intimate vibe, perfect for a special night out.We started with the French onion soup, which is hands-down the best I've ever had—rich, flavorful broth with perfectly caramelized onions and gooey cheese. The salads were fresh and crisp, setting the stage for the main event: the steaks. Our porterhouse and fillet were cooked to perfection, juicy and bursting with flavor. The scallops were tender and seared just right, and all the sides complemented everything beautifully with their spot-on preparation and beautiful presentation.To top it all off, we indulged in desserts—the Alaskan was decadent and refreshing, while the crème brûlée is a must-have with its creamy custard and perfectly caramelized top. This wasn't our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. If you're craving top-tier steaks in a welcoming setting, Marcel's is the place to go! They alao have Gluten-Free options avaliable.

Truly a great dining experience. Very nice location with excellent customer service. With a group of six. Lots of fine pairings and drinks recommended. Our group had a large shellfish starter, but I am allergic and did not eat any. They brought out a really tasty flat bread resembling a pita that was walk and yummy with the spread that came with it. They also brought out sliced cucumbers for someone in our party that had a gluten allergy. Additionally, we had some tuna as well as an appetizer that had good flavor. I ordered the 14oz bone in fillet and out table for asparagus, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes and a corn dish for sides that were to be shared. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium) and was so tender and flavorful. I address the peppercorn sauce to go with the steak but never used what they brought be as what was on the plate was so tasty. The corn dish was very good, sort of a creamed cord with some crumple on top. I also had the scalloped potatoes that were covered in a baked cheese topping and it was very good as well. Never got a chance to try the other side dishes. For dessert, some of us shared the 10 layered chocolate cake. It was fantastic and slightly chilled which is a must for me with a cakey dessert. This dish put the overall food over the top for me, definitely five stars. Elegant dining does come with elegant pricing, but it was a work dinner with the tab being picked up by a vendor, so at least I did not have e to worry about the bill. Interesting decor in the men’s room that was a little bit of a head scratcher and I guess could offend some people, but it did not take away from my experience. The decor might prompt questions from younger patrons, but I don’t think this type of establishment gets very many children. Excellent location as well and the restaurant truly goes along with the vibe on Howell mill around Georgia Tech.
