After reading great reviews, we were excited about the pasta options, especially for my gluten free spouse. We got there early and our sever was initially very attentive although told us that the gnocchi and polpette with buckwheat was definitely not gluten free. He said he checked in the kitchen and confirmed - odd that many other gf diners said those items were but we didn’t want to chance it. The vibe was great and drinks were nice also. The buratta appetizer with fig and thin sliced ham was delicious as was the non gf spaghetti with pesto. Our gf diner chose the special shrimp and mushroom entree with the boxed gf penne. The sauce was too thin for a standard boxed gf pasta and served with 5 medium size shrimp for €38. The server could have noted it would not be as good with the boxed pasta as the homemade fettuccine that non-gf diners would have had. Also, as the restaurant got busier, we didn’t see our server for about 30 minutes, water ran out, a side dish was forgotten, etc. I think the issues we faced were that server more than the restaurant but did take away from an otherwise lovely evening.

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful location, excellent service, and delicious, beautifully-presented food. Their outside terrace is gorgeous and romantic. Our server was wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. A very special thank you as well for having gluten free pasta available, this is so special to find and it was clear that equal attention was paid to making a gluten-free preparation just as delicious as the regular options.
