The shrimp tacos and guacamole were amazing!!! The corn tortillas taste really good and don’t get soggy like other places usually do. My friend is gluten free so they try a lot of corn tortillas and they said these are the best!

it's all about the chicken quesadilla.
I went to Emerson and ate at Maria's probably at least once a week the entire time I was there. The food is incredible, the workers are awesome (they recognize regulars and often give special treatment) and I've never once seen every seat taken (people usually just grab and go) so if you're touring boston and looking for someplace quick and cheap to sit and eat, Maria's is the only place I recommend.
*I was diagnosed with celiacs; unfortunately, since I last ate there they were not able to prepare food separately, however they do have corn tortilla tacos on the menu that, if you're willing to undergo cross contamination, it's totally worth it!
