Maria Bonita Mexican Restaurant

Their cherry vanilla Coke with real Mexican vanilla is the best! I always order the carnitas tacos and they make them gluten free and dairy free for me without any sacrifice in taste. Excellent! Our server was a little less attentive than I would have liked this time. Usually that isn't an issue. The restaurant is always crowded and loud for lunch which doesn't bother me, but if that's not your style you may not like it here. This place has many regular customers because of their consistently great food and reasonable prices.

We tried to beat the rush on a Saturday by coming at 4 but even then the wait was 45 min outside in the heat. The patio and the waiting area are super jammed and the inside isn't much better. We came for gluten free options, which they had, but the gimmick of this place (huge nonalcoholic drinks) wasn't enough to balance the absolute bland food. Cheese was on everything and there was no flavor to the meat, beans or rice.
