Mariachi Mexican Restaurant Bar and Grill

The food is always amazing and the staff is super friendly. I have yet to find another restaurant where the quality of food and service stays consistent. Once I ate here, I never went to another Mexican restaurant. It was love at first bite! The kitchen always does a great job keeping my meal gluten free. I have celiac so gluten free is mandatory, they have always taken the best care of me and have always been happy to make sure my food is safe. Our kids also love the food and actually eat their veggies here. The oldest actually wants her birthday dinner here, can’t wait.

We ate lunch on a weekday and had great prompt service in a festive authentic atmosphere. It is a relatively new Mexican restaurant in the Peoria area and maybe tops after our first visit - everything was very fresh & well prepared. My friend ordered the chicken fajita and loved it. I ordered the pollo yucatan with lots of yummy vegetables and it was delicious - a little spicier than I've had before, but my new favorite restaurant for that dish. I have to avoid gluten, dairy and eggs because of food sensitivities so I have been to several Mexican restaurants in the area.
