Marinara Trattoria

O my gosh ! Where has this place been all my life? Actually where have I been all this time? Great food and intimate atmosphere. Fairly casual and comfy feel. I went there two nights in a row. Both for my birthday with different members of the family. There was no special birthday song or greetings - I think they seem to be focused on getting good food to you with minimal fuss. I tried the gluten free pizza and the base was marvelous. I had the salmon too - very good. I also tried my people’s food - pasta , meatballs and regular crust pizza. All great.

This restaurant gives off a very cosy family friendly vibe. Dishes were all served fresh and hot and the seafood was of good quality. The pasta work was good and the sauces were rich and flavourful. I was especially impressed with the gluten free pizza, which was even better than normal pizzas from other places. If we had stopped with the mains I would have rated it 4.5. We did however make the mistake of ordering desserts which were all disappointments. They looked appealing on the menu plate but the taste just wasn't up to par. Service was prompt and friendly although it could be a bit more attentive.
