Marinè Senza Glutine

Reference of gluten-free in Pavia! Every day you can find fresh products such as bread, pizzas, brioches and assorted desserts. Attached to the bar area, there is also a very assorted shop with various products and brands.

Breakfast, snack or quick lunch for celiacs. When I'm in the area I often stop at Marinè. Place with the possibility of purchasing fresh baked goods, both savory and sweet, possibly to order. You can eat on site. Internal and external space. Very good quality of food. In the shop there is also a section for shopping and purchasing products with the monthly NHS voucher. Clean and tidy place.

The positive things are the cleanliness of the place and the fact that inside the shop there is the possibility of purchasing gluten-free products, the pastry shop, although limited in choice, is visually attractive... But as mentioned, the positive things end here. The prices are high... Empty brioches for 2 euros with stuffed ones that can cost up to 4 euros... Tried the empty one... A huge thing, practically a stick of raw butter with dough that hasn't even risen, heavy, worse than a brick (see photo). The cafeteria without infamy but not with praise either... The staff, although kind and formal, is very "dry", an empathetic smile that is almost impossible to die for. A really sad morning breakfast and the rest of the day is no better given that even in other circumstances in which I have been to this place at other times the service is set up exactly like this.... Too bad, because the potential would be there.
