Mario’s Seawall has a great atmosphere and delicious food, but unfortunately, my experience as a celiac girlie wasn’t the best. While they do offer gluten-free options, I ended up getting glutened, which was really disappointing. The flavors were amazing, and I wish I could confidently return, but if you have celiac or a severe gluten intolerance, I’d recommend being extra cautious and double-checking with the staff. My wife has celiac disease and her reactions to gluten exposure are pretty severe. We're unfortunately from out of state so this isn't a place we can come back to regularly, but we would travel far just to come here again. Every part of our experience was wonderful. Any place that can be this safe and taste this good is an absolute treasure. There doesn't need to be an overwhelming abundance of choices, you simply get some of the best. That being said, there are plenty of options to choose from that are safe for individuals with celiac disease. The service was absolutely on par as well. Our server, Arnold, was knowledgeable and kind. Mario's is some of the best we've had.

I have been here so many times because it is one of my favorite resturaunts when we visit Galveston. I have celiac and although cross contamination could happen, I have not been sick from there. Best tomatoe, basil soup and seafood, gluten free, alfredo pasta is what I typically order.
