We can’t begin to imagine the hard work and passion it takes to open and run a restaurant, but what we experienced at Mason’s Steakhouse was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that every detail—from the warm, welcoming service to the perfectly crafted dishes—was infused with care, love, and exceptional skill.
Our meal was unforgettable. We started with the lobster bisque (rich, velvety, and perfectly seasoned), raw oysters (fresh and briny), and oyster Rockefeller (a decadent dream). For mains, we savored the NY strip steak and the duck, both of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Dessert was equally spectacular: the affogatos were the perfect sweet ending to a flawless evening.
The team’s thoughtfulness extended to accommodating a severe gluten allergy in our party. They went above and beyond, providing gluten-free bread and ensuring dishes like the bisque, duck, and affogato were safe without compromising on taste. That level of care is rare and so deeply appreciated.
A special shoutout to our server, Larry, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs. The service elevated an already incredible evening. We enjoyed it so much that we booked our next reservation before we even left—yes, it was that good.
