Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant

Great restaurant with a great view. I went jn for dinner with no rsvp, and we were treated very well. The staff went the extra mile to figure out what was gluten free for our friend and stayed after opening hours. The food was high quality and wait very reasonable. Wine list had some great wines at very decent prices. The Ontario lamb racks, which I had, were absolutely amazing and just rare enough. I would definitely recommend this place for a special occasion.

Indicated it was my mother in laws birthday at the front desk… wasn’t offered or given any special dessert. Was asked to order food at one time by our waitress Debbie Service was Very slow, had to wait over 35+ minutes for our main course The main course did not come out until after the sunset.. I had to ask the manager for our food which was approx 40 plus minutes later.. seems like the food was sitting in the kitchen after it came out after I asked.. Waitress Debbie was almost ignoring us I was very specific about gluten free, she heard me and confirmed. Didn’t give me gluten free and than argued. Than apologized. The meal wasn’t even offered to be taken off the bill Asked for Grappa and said they didn’t have though it’s at an Italian restaurant.. they told us LCBO was closed for two weeks… kept on giving excuses. Gave my mom a soup spoon for sorbet Gave my wife a desert fork for main course Bathrooms were dirty and unkept Horrible experience would gladly never return and will advise others… pls don’t waste your time and money here… they really have to step it up.
